Stability and Stories
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about what I actually want for my life after school. It’s easy to give a safe answer when people ask, but if I’m being honest, my real dream is to work in the film industry. I’ve always been drawn to how stories come together on screen, and I’d love to find my own place in that world. I wouldn't mind trying out acting if the chance came up, but my main goal is just to have a solid career where I can actually contribute.
I try to stay realistic about it, though. I’m not looking for fame or anything extraordinary; I just want a career that is consistent. To me, making it means being good at my job and respected for what I do. Being a student right now feels like a lot of prep work, but I’m okay with taking small steps as long as they’re leading me toward a path I actually care about.
Ultimately, I just want a life that is "sufficient." I want to earn enough to take care of myself and, more importantly, the people I love. Being able to support my family and make sure they’re comfortable is what matters most to me. If I can have a job in film that pays the bills and keeps me happy, while being a reliable person for my loved ones, then I’ll feel like I’ve actually succeeded.
