    Hello, everyone! My name is Leona Gemaicah Castañeda, and I'm so glad you're here. I am currently 15 years old and a 10th grader in Ilocos Sur National High School. I was born on April 27, 2010 and I live in Nagsangalan Vigan City, Ilocos Sur. Wanna know more? stay reading!  I believe that our experiences, both the big adventures and the quiet moments, are what truly shape us. In this blog, I will share a bit about my self, my family, hobbies, and my daily life. I hope to give you an honest peek into who I am and the journey I've been on so far. I'm excited to share a part of my world with you.    

    I come from a family of five, and as the oldest child, I have two younger sisters who keep things lively. We live in a neighborhood that’s more like an extended family, it's filled with our relatives! This means there's always a cousin around to hang out with, and I love spending time with them, making memories that I know will last a lifetime. My family is my anchor, their support helps me navigate any challenges and gives me the confidence to face the world.

    When I'm not with my family or friends, I love to spend my free time getting lost in a good story. I love diving into the world of K-dramas, and my list of favorites is quite diverse! My heart is especially drawn to medical dramas, which captivate me with their intense human stories and a fascinating peek into the of medicine. I also find myself seated with action and crime series, captivated by their suspenseful plots and dynamic characters. I appreciate the emotional depth of melodramas and the quiet, relatable moments in slice-of-life shows that mirror our own daily experiences. For a thrilling escape, I turn to mystery and sci-fi dramas that challenge my mind with their complex plots and imaginative worlds. And, of course, a feel-good rom-com is my go-to for a perfect mix of laughter, heartfelt moments, and a touch of romance.

    A huge part of my daily routine involves helping with chores at home. It's a small way I can contribute to my family and it reminds me that we're a family. I also have my pet dogs who always bring a smile to my face, they are a source of my endless joy and companionship. And speaking of companions, I'm lucky to have  close of friends. With them, I can be my true self, laugh freely, and express what’s on my mind without holding back. While I tend to be more reserved with others, my friends make me feel comfortable and secure. Of course, a big part of being a student is managing my schoolwork. I know how important it is to study and learn, so I always try my best to balance my academic responsibilities with my hobbies and social life. It's a constant balancing act, but it’s a good one. And when all is said and done, my favorite way to recharge is simply by sleeping and grabbing a bite! It helps me regain the energy I need to take on a new day.

    My life so far has been full of moments with my family and friends, and the simple things I enjoy. Their support has been my anchor, helping me navigate any challenges. As I look to the future, I hope to strengthen these relationships even more and continue to grow. I'm excited to keep exploring who I am and the world around me, making new memories and working toward my goals. I am ready to face the challenges ahead with a positive attitude, and I'm confident that with the love and support of those around me, I can achieve anything I set my mind to.
