★Letter to the President

Letter to the President

His excellency Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

President of the Republic of the Philippines

Malacañang, Manila

Dear President Marcos,

Greetings!

I hope this letter finds you well. I'm writing as a student to share my thoughts. We are the youth of this country, and we have so many dreams for the future. We're grateful for the help you've given us, especially in education. Your programs have made a big difference, allowing us to focus on our studies and dream of a better future. It's given us hope that we can finish our studies and build a better life for ourselves and our families.

However, we still face challenges that we hope you can help address. Many of our schools need better facilities. Classrooms are old and not enough for student population, and equipment is lacking. It's hard to learn in environments that aren't conducive to studying. We believe that having a good place to study is key to learning better. Additionally, the rising cost of living is a significant concern for our families. The increasing prices of school supplies, food, and transportation are a huge burden. Some of my classmates have to work after school to help their families, which makes it very hard for them to keep up with their academic work.

Despite these challenges, we believe in the Philippines' potential and want to be part of the solution. We hope you'll continue to listen to us and consider our voices. We're eager to contribute to building a stronger, brighter future for our country. Thank you for your service and for all that you do. We appreciate your efforts and look forward to seeing positive changes in our country.

Sincerely,

Leona Gemaicah Castañeda
