Reflection for the Last Quarter
Fourth quarter is finally here, and it feels like everything is moving so fast. In our ICT class lately, we’ve been diving into the world of sitemaps, and honestly, it’s a lot more interesting than I expected. At first, I thought it was just about drawing boxes and lines, but it’s actually like creating a blueprint for a whole digital world. It made me realize how much planning goes into the websites we use every day without even thinking about it.
Building these sitemaps has been a bit of a challenge, especially trying to figure out how to organize information so it actually makes sense to someone else. It’s kind of like organizing your own thoughts or planning out a big project—you have to see the big picture before you can start on the small details. There were moments where I had to restart because my layout was too messy, but that’s just part of the learning process. It’s satisfying to see a complicated idea finally look clean and structured on the screen.
Looking back at this quarter, I feel like I’ve gained a new skill that I can actually use later on. Whether I end up making my own website or just working on digital projects, knowing how to design a proper flow is going to be so helpful. It’s cool to think that we’re not just learning theory, but actually building things from scratch. I’m definitely tired from the end-of-year rush, but finishing this ICT module makes me feel like I’ve actually accomplished something solid before summer starts. Also, I'm truly grateful to our ICT teacher for the lessons we learned and efforts you made to make our class fun and engaging.
The school year is finally coming to an end.
